Your health and safety are our top priorities. Below are the key measures currently in place at The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest:

• On Arrival

  • Increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection at high-volume areas and regularly touched surfaces, using only certified third party vendors (such as Ecolab) products. These include the counter at front desk, elevators, public bathrooms and room keys.
    
  • Installing hand-sanitizers stations across all public areas
    
  • Introduced measures to minimize contact and reinforce social distancing: signages and shields are placed throughout the hotel, promoting physical distancing and encouraging guests to follow social distancing recommendation.
    
  • We encourage contactless interaction upon arrival and check-in, therefore our guests can opt into the Mobile Key service via the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app can receive a virtual key to their phone, without the need for a traditional plastic room key. Guests receive an alert when their key is activated following a Mobile Check-In.
    
  • Mobile Check Out: Check out via the Mobile App and skip the desk, a digital copy of the invoice will be sent by email.
    
  • Mobile Chat: Communicate with us from anywhere at any time. Mobile chat is available from up to 48h hours before the day of arrival until 24 hours after your departure.
    
  • Mobile Guest Requests: Connect with us via the App to request items you would like delivered to your guest room.
    

• Room

  • Implemented guidelines on chemicals and equipment to be used that are effective against viruses.
    
  • Removal of all collaterals and decorative pillows from the room, all menus of the hotel outlets are available at the TV directory in each room
    
  • Room Service: 24 hours, breakfast, DSK lunch and dinner menus, special night menu
    
  • Mini Bar: available in the room disinfected and sealed
    

• Housekeeping

  • Cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place to sanitize rooms after guests depart and before next guest arrives.
    
  • Guests can let us know if you wish that our Housekeeping team does not enter the room during the stay turndown service is currently not available in the hotel
    
  • In all areas in the hotel, our staff is wearing PPE, such as masks, to protect both the guests and employees. Guests are welcome to wear personal face covering while in the hotel and going outside to public places and transportation (last one is mandated by law).
    

• Food & Beverage and Dining

  • We have redesigned our restaurant setup to ensure social distancing and removed all non-essential items, minimizing contact through set up of venues, alternatives for menus (QR code) and other social distancing efforts.
    
  • In all areas in the hotel, our staff is wearing PPE, such as masks, to protect both the guests and employees. Guests are welcome to wear personal face covering while in the hotel and going outside to public places and transportation (last one is mandated by law).

• Shared Areas

  • Fitness Center: daily 06:00 – 22:00 (maximum of 4 people at given time in the area)
    
  • Spa: daily 12:00 – 22:00 (maximum of 4 people at given time in the pool area), pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room.
    
  • Massages and body treatments are also available in rooms
    
  • Treatment rooms are disinfected after each treatment
    
  • Prior reservation is required. 25 minutes in between treatment is allowed for disinfection.
    
  • Our staff is wearing PPE, such as masks, to protect both the guests
    
  • Hand sanitizer available

• Staff Interaction

  • Increased associate health, safety and knowledge efforts, including hand hygiene protocols and specific COVID-19 related trainings, with the help of our Operations experts.
    
  • Increased frequency of cleaning in the 'Back of House', where hotel employees work behind the scenes.

• Other Measures

  • If any guests are tested positive during the stay, we have a clear procedure in-place, including isolation and protocols to ensure the guests comfort.

  • Redemption is direct with the Hotel on new reservations made after the certificate purchase.
  • The certificate value applies to your bill for both room reservations and select hotel services & outlets.
  • Room: Valid towards all room-types and publicly available rates, offers, and packages as per the Hotel's website on the dates requested.
  • Services & Outlets: Valid towards in-house services and outlets operated by the Hotel and added to your room-bill. (See specified what is offered at each Hotel under REDEEM ON).
  • Exclusions: Any exclusions are noted under "Hotel Specific Terms."
  • Valid for 3 years.
  • The hotel stores any remaining value for your next stay.
  • An unredeemed certificate is transferable by first notifying Noble or Hotel.
  • An unredeemed certificate is refundable within 14-days after purchase, after it’s non-refundable.
